Performances
Performances by Steven Stiller
You Give Me Sunshine (Steven Stiller, 2014) A Blues/Stride song (no, there are no words yet).
Montana Girl (Steven Stiller, 2011) A Lyrical rag with mostly classic ragtime sensibilities.
The Blues Ain't Nothin' (Leroy 'Lasses' White - 1912) One of the earliest blues songs published.
The Jogo Blues (W.C. Handy - 1913) An early instrumental blues number. Contains material later used in St. Louis Blues
Top Liner Rag (Joseph Lamb - 1916) One of Joe Lamb's finest rags. This recording is dedicated to Pat Lamb Conn, Joe Lambs Daughter, whom I have the pleasure to know.
The Girl Who Moved Away (David Thomas Roberts - 1981) David Thomas Roberts is one of the premier composers for piano in the 2nd half of the twentieth century. His earlier works, like this one, can be classified as new ragtime. A genre he has now progressed beyond. David's works and his inspiration and his comments on my own compositions have been formatory in my own works.
Eleanor's Rag - Steven Stiller, 2022. A classic rag style in honor of my 2 year old granddaughter.
